The Middle Majority Movement is built on what people like you do in their districts and their communities.

The highest-leverage thing one person can do is convene a chapter where they live. A chapter is a durable coordination hub — a place where leaders of churches, unions, business associations, veterans posts, and neighborhood groups in your community can find each other and build common ground. A Civic Working Unit (CWU) is the focused, election-cycle structure that forms when a primary approaches and a district needs to organize behind a candidate. Many chapter founders go on to convene their first CWU.
You don't need to have done this before. You need to be trusted in your community and ready to act. The first step is small: identify two or three civic leaders in your district who share a concern about representation, and convene a first conversation about what your communities actually want from their government. We provide the framework, the tools, the training, and direct support from the MMM team — for everything that follows.

The civic organizations already in every district — yours included — collectively have the membership to decide a primary. They have never had a tool, a process, or a reason to act together. MMM is building all three.
If you lead or work for a civic organization and think your members would be interested, we want a thirty-minute conversation. We want to know your organization, your district, and what you'd be open to. If your district is one of our 2026 pilots, we'll move quickly together. If not, we'll talk about chapter formation on your timeline and what support we can provide — and how your organization can be part of the 2028 cycle.
Joining MMM doesn't change what your organization does, what it stands for, or who it answers to. It gives you a way to coordinate with neighbors you already share priorities with, in the elections where your members' votes carry the most weight.

MMM is a small team building something ambitious. The list below is what we're currently looking for—but it isn't exclusive. If you have a skill we haven't named and think it might be useful, write to us anyway. The movement is at its earliest stage, which means the people who come in now help shape what it becomes.

Most volunteer roles can be done remotely. Chapter and field roles are local by definition.

Not ready to start a chapter, volunteer, or donate? That's fine. Being on the list is its own contribution. When MMM has news that matters, you'll hear it first, and you'll know how to share it with the people in your life who should also be paying attention.
We send a short update once a month: pilot-district progress, new chapter announcements, op-eds and published research, candidate-commitment milestones, and the occasional ask when a coordinated push makes a difference. No more than monthly. Easy to unsubscribe.
