Two Entities, Two Different Ways of Supporting the Movement
Why two entities?
The Middle Majority Movement is a civic association — nonpartisan, nonprofit, and built on the trust of the communities it serves. That mission never changes.
Building the digital platform that powers the Movement requires a different kind of organization: one that can attract investment capital, move at startup speed, and scale nationally. Middle Majority Group, Inc. (MMG) is that organization — a Delaware Public Benefit Corporation, legally required to balance investor returns with its public mission.
The two are designed to reinforce each other, not compete. Democracy Counts, Inc. — the 10-year-old nonprofit that founded the Movement — holds a board seat and a mission veto on MMG. No investor can direct MMG to act against the civic mission. Financial returns and civic purpose are structurally aligned.
Your donation goes to the Movement. Investment capital goes to build the tools the Movement needs. Both matter. Both are welcome here.
